Chanel Fanor is a native of South Florida, who graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Applied Economics and received her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA) and interned with the Honorable Magistrate Gordon Murray, Sr. in Miami, FL.
Chanel is a member of the Florida Bar, admitted to practice in all state Courts, as well as the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Haitian Lawyers Association.
Chanel is involved in the community and enjoys giving back. She volunteers with the Women of Tomorrow Organization, a mentoring and scholarship program for at-risk teenage girls within the public school system. Chanel lives in Miramar and enjoys attending church at Sound the Trumpet Ministries of Miami, where she is an active member. She also enjoys traveling with her husband Jean, and spending time with her family and friends.
